MY Work

In true triple virgo fashion, the following blog is in chronological order, of course.

An understated and brief recap of my previous projects.

Please enjoy scrolling down my memory lane. I hope you see a familiar face or two!

2023 - 2024

Jersey Boys

Fireside Theater

Francine Valli / US Mary.

Wisconsin in Dec - Feb? The amount of layers I wore on the daily was criminal. Sure, the East Coast trained me well, but that classic "dry cold" I was not prepared for. The very friendly Midwesterners had no problem shoveling both the snow and beer in my face.

Mary Poppins

Argyle Theater

Ensemble / US Bird Woman.

Returning to Long Island... because who doesn't love it? I've always adored this story and the joy it brings. I almost died my hair to match this wig because it was divine.  Singing that soprano line for 10 am student matinees? Not the most enjoyable, but seeing the precious babes' faces made it all worth it.

Rock Of Ages (pt. 2)

Argyle Theater

Constance Sack / US Regina.

Yes, you read that correctly. Part 2. My colleagues and I love to describe this time in our life as our mini tour of "Rock of Ages". If I could do this show for the rest of my life, I would. Not only does it keep you in the best shape, but it allows me to live my 80's dreams.

Rock of Ages

ACT

Constance Sack / US Regina.

Part One! It was such a treat learning and growing with this show. As intense and objectifying as the material may seem to be, the community built around this show is so supportive and safe. Tapping into the "Rock" aspect of my being is something I didn't know I needed. Again, I would do this show forever if I could.

2021 - 2022

WAITRESS

Dance Captain / Swing / US Dawn

For 9 months I had the privilege of visiting 32 states and 98 cities. In those 9 months, I was pushed to my absolute limits both physically and mentally, but I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. To be cheesy "everything changes", and for a good reason. When you embark on a tour, no one tells you the truth: the 8-hour bus days, two-week-long stints of one-nighters, and the struggle of doing the simplest of tasks such as laundry. Add Covid on top of that? It was no walk in the park. Miss Rona got me in January of 2022. As the dance captain, the 10 days I was in quarantine was spent resetting the show from over 500 miles away as a new member of the company went down almost every other day. Additionally, as our cast changed over time, I taught 6 new company members 14 tracks. Sure, challenging, but I now wear that badge with honor and a sense of triumph. On the other end of the spectrum, they also don't tell you the best parts of touring: exploring the country, discovering yourself both artistically and personally, as well as making lifelong friends. Pictured below is almost every single theater we performed in, as well as some of my favorite memories:

2019 - 2020

Meet Me In St. Louis / Cabaret Series

Theater Aspen

Tootie / Featured Ens

The dreaded COVID summer. I was fortunate enough to still be employed, and escape to a wonderful utopia that is Aspen, CO. It tracks that I would be playing a six-year-old, as well as belting my face off in an MT revue.  I couldn't have higher praise for this place and these people.

2018 - 2019

Mamma Mia / Flash Dance / Holiday Inn

Surflight Theater

Sophie / Featured Ens / Featured Ens

A summer at the beach? Yes, please! I credit this summer with teaching me stamina and flexibility. Learning three shows in rep prepared me for my future swing brain, as well as gave me my first leading role. Mamma Mia - another show I would do forever.
